Check out this cool action short my homie Mirtha Michelle produced and starred in with. Her goal was to show people she could do action so she decided to film a 2 minute short with some of the skills she learned while training with fight/stunt coordinator Larnell Stovall. It turned out pretty cool so she decided to share it with her friends and i in turn decided it to share it with you.

The creative minds from one of my favorite brands, Black Scale, have returned with a new collection and with it a new look book. The Black Print Collection Video LookBook was a project they created with the talented Werehaus crew out of San Francisco California and the premise behind the project was to show all of you another side of shooting look books through video with a story line that they hope all of you can relate to.

Big shout out to the homie Teek The Sneak for putting me on to this dope video!! RETNA and EL MAC have teamed up for another mural, this time in Culver City. Their newest mural, titled Of Our Youth, can be seen on the side of Graphaids art supply store, on La Cienega between Jefferson and Washington.

The imagery and text used in this mural was inspired by their time spent at Skid Row, while painting their previous mural. The artists met a man by the name of Ralph Woodruff aka Chato and were inspired by this man’s past hardships, experiences and overall outlook on life. His ability to recognize his mistakes and atone for his sordid past was something that resonated with RETNA. The text which reads, “So today I’m trying to change a few things to rectify the situation of my past. So today I’m looking towards the future (of our youth highlighted)” is a quote taken from their conversation.
The mural was made possible by graphaids.com , riveraandrivera.com, and rvca.com

After my post about the Mr. Cartoon X Nike collaboration my boy Trauma put me on to this video featured on Skee.TV. Apparently back in february some genius at Metro PCS decided to hire the infamous graffiti artists Mister Cartoon, Cope2, & Sen2 Bomb for a gorilla style marketing campaign. The ideal of the campaign was to stir up attention towards the brand by sanctioning the three graff gods to put pieces on local Metro PCS stores in New York City and it make it appear as if the stores were bombed by the their favorite graffiti artist.

“Since bursting on the scene with a collection of lifestyle shoes inspired by one of the greatest signature sneaker franchises of all-time, Gourmet has come into its own. Offering a collection featuring both timeless profiles as well as some silhouettes that re-visit and re-appropriate classics, we took the opportunity to catch up with the brand’s three founders. Each possessing their own respective and relevant backgrounds prior to Gourmet, we follow Greg Lucci, Jon Buscemi and Greg Johnsen for a day at the tracks and back to the Gourmet headquarters to chop it up with Jon Buscemi.”

This dude isn’t as stunt heavy as my boy Damien Walters but he definitely has mad style!! Its like he’s combining free running with breakdancing using real obstacles in urban environments. Plus the video samples one of my favorite Bruce Lee quotes of all time. Very dope!!

One of my all time favotite Nike runners are back once again!!! As many of you know, The Nike Air Max 90 has become quite the icon since it’s debut in 1990. It is the second running shoe created by Tinker Hatfield that displays a Visible Air Window on it’s exterior. No matter how many times the original Infrared colourway sees a retro release, it’s re-arrival is always welcomed with open arms. Being huge fans of classic runners as well, the peeps at Primitive decided to offer a tee to go along with the kicks. They recently caught up with the beautiful & curvaceous JUSTENE JARO to join in the fun. They asked her if she was down to pose in underwear & Infrareds, and she was cool with the concept. This is a behind the scenes video from that photo shoot…

Thank you, Old Spice and the Internet, as this week you have given us another commercial featuring the hilarious, heroic and always amazingly scented Isaiah Mustafa. I recently saw this commercial in the movie theatre while waiting to watch Inception (*The Best movie of 20X) and knew instantly I was going to post it. The new commercial features Mustafa log-rolling, circular-sawing, cliff-diving, motor-biking and stealing hearts once again. If commercials can be legendary, then these commercials are legendary. I mean their commercials for Odor Blocking Body Wash and their normal Body Wash have gotten over 18 million hits on YouTube, and a contract for their star, Isaiah Mustafa to star in an NBC sitcom. As far as I’m concerned this set of Old Spice commercials are up there with the “I Love you man…” commercials Budweiser ran in the 90’s.
